Our Story
Imara Health Collective was born from the belief that strong operations and strong people are not separate pursuits- they are one. After years of working across multiple levels of healthcare operations- from the frontline to leading large-scale intiatives, one pattern became clear: systems could be rebuilt and workflows standardized, but meaningful change occurred when people understood the broader goals and the people behind the work. When clarity met compassion, performance transformed.
Imara was created to bridge that gap by uniting structure, empathy, and intelligence in a way that makes healthcare efficient and deeply human.

Today, Imara partners with physician practices, healthcare organizations, and more to rebuild clarity where it's been lost, strengthen teams through awareness and alignment, and design operations that can sustain themselves through change.

Founder's Perspective
After fifteen years of serving and leading complex healthcare environments, Dez saw a pattern: operational challenges were rarely about capability-they were about human connection. When alignment, communication, performance, or visibility slipped, even the strongest systems lost momentum.

Dez founded Imara to change that. her work unites human behavior and operational design + education to create systems that are both intelligent and practical. Every solution begins with people- how they think, communicate, and adapt. Dez studies those dynamics, identifies breakdowns, and rebuilds structure around understanding.
Dez embeds herself in the work, no matter the level. Whether shadowing and demonstrating front-line work, supporting digital transformations, or creating brand new operational designs, Dez steps into the real environment to see where complexity and workflow collide. That perspective allows her to design frameworks that function.
Her approach brings calm and coherence during times of change- big or small. By translating intricate processes into clear expectations and actionable systems, she helps organizations stay aligned and human through transformation.
